Found close to the beautiful national park of the Casentinesi Forest, Antico Fio is all about relaxing in natural surroundings.
 
This monumental 18th century country house and farm has been divided into a series of spacious holiday apartments, with two outbuildings providing two cottages as well. All located close to the swimming pool and with independent access to the surrounding grounds. 

In the grounds is a large wooden gazebo, plenty of umbrellas and seats around the pool and a play area for children.

Each apartment has an independent entry, original niches and other particulars, well equipped kitchens, bathroom with shower, and simple country furniture.

Within easy drive are Tuscany's most historic and artistic cities. And even closer to Antico Fio is Arezzo and many other towns and villages waiting for you to discover. Cortona, Florence, Siena and Perugia are all simple day trip destinations.

GENERAL ACCOMMODATION DETAILS

Each bathroom has a shower and hair dryer.

Each kitchen/kitchenette has 2/4 electric hobs, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine.

Outside each apartment has its own outdoor area (table and chairs) near the entrance. In communal areas there are barbecue points. There is also a laundry point (washing machine, drier). 

APARTMENTS:

Villa Bruno: to the side of the main building a separate cottage of 95sq m on two floors, with large garden, close to the pool, divided into living room with TV and armchairs with patio doors to the garden, large kitchen with four hobs, oven, dishwasher and fridge. Three bedrooms, one ground floor double with direct access to the garden, and two twin rooms upstairs. Ground floor and first floor bathrooms with shower. First floor balcony. Sleeps 6 

Villa Camelia: This cottage is found on the opposite side of the main building from Villa Bruna and is slightly smaller at 72sq m. Living/kitchen with four hobs, oven, dishwasher and fridge, double sofa bed and TV, two bedrooms one double and one with bunkbeds, two bathrooms with showers and first floor balcony. Sleeps 4/6

Apt Rosa: First floor 80sq m apartment reached by broad external stone staircase leading to a furnished terrace and entrance with living/kitchen area with four hobs, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge, three bedrooms (one double and two singles), two bathrooms with showers, attic living room with double sofa bed. Sleeps 6/8

Apt Margherita: First floor 80sqm apartment at the centre of the farmhouse, reached by a stone staircase.  The apartment has a living room with kitchen corner, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a mezzanine floor. The main living room (21 sq. metres) has a table and chairs, a dresser, a woodburning stove, 20” colour TV. The kitchen corner has a four gas ring hob, double sink, an electric oven, dishwasher and fridge. Apt Margherita apartment is adjacent to Apt Viola and Apt Papavero and can intercommunicate with Apt Papavero. Sleeps 7

Apt Mimosa: Ground floor 55sqm apartment with living room and kitchen corner, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The living room has a table and chairs, a 2-seater sofa, coffee table, fireplace and 20” colour TV. The two bedrooms are reached from the living room. The kitchen corner has a four gas hob, a double sink, electric oven, microwave oven and fridge. Sleeps 4

Apt Viola: First floor 61 sqm apartment. at the centre of the farmhouse and reached by a stone staircase. There is a living room with kitchen corner, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a covered loggia. The living room is furnished with a table, chairs, dresser, a fireplace and a 20” colour TV. 

The kitchen corner has a four gas ring hob, a granite sink, a microwave oven, an electric oven and fridge. Both bedrooms lead out to a private terrace and there is a covered loggia with a magnificent view and seating area.

The terrace leads off bedroom 1 and is furnished with an outdoor table and chairs and can communicate with Apt Gelsomino. Sleeps 4

Apt Girasole: First floor 70sqm apartment reached by external stone staircase leading to a small exclusive terrace and entrance.  Living room with kitchen corner, two bedrooms and a bathroom.  Large living room with table and chairs, a dresser, a 3-seater sofa, two armchairs and a 20” colour TV.  Kkitchen corner and three very large French windows giving a marvellous view of the whole of the Casentino valley.Can communicate with Apt Papavero via internal door. Sleeps 4/5

Apt Orchidea: Ground floor 61 sqm apartment. Living room with kitchen corner, two bedrooms, two bathrooms. Living room has a table and chairs, fireplace and 20” colour TV. 

The kitchen corner is equipped of four gas hobs an electric oven, dishwasher and fridge. Sleeps 4

Apt Gelsomino: First floor 56sqm apartment in the centre of the farmhouse.  Entrance is via a wide stone staircase which leads to a panoramic terrace, for the exclusive use of this apartment, which opens into the apartment. Living room, kitchen cormer, two bedrooms and a bathroom  Sleeps 4

Apt Papavero: First floor 37 sqm apartment reached by a stone staircase leading directly to the apartment.  The apartment is composed of a living room with kitchen corner, a bedroom and bathroom.  The kitchen corner has four gas hobs, a single sink unit, an electric oven and fridge.

Apt Papavero is adjacent to the Apts Marcherita and Girasole.  Apt Margherita can intercommunicate with Papavero via the entrance and with Girasole via an internal door. Sleeps 2/3
